DAP Awarded Fourth Consecutive Golden Hammer Award

Honored as the Gold Standard in Caulking & Sealants Category

BALTIMORE (May 6, 2009) – At the 25^th Annual Golden Hammer Awards in Las Vegas on Tuesday, May 5, 2009, DAP Products Inc. was honored with its fourth consecutive Golden Hammer Award in the Caulking & Sealants category. Home Channel News presented John McLaughlin, President and CEO, with the award during the ceremony at the 2009 National Hardware Show.

DAP received its seventh Golden Hammer Award this century based on peerrecognition of the company's excellence in the Lumber Building Materials and Durables field. The top 500 home center/building material dealers/retailers selected DAP as the elite supplier of caulks and sealants that exemplifies the gold standard through its commitment to retailer sales support, marketing and partnership efforts. The criteria for selection included category management, inventory management, new product innovation, quality control and serving professionals.
