How to Use
QUICK START GUIDE

1. SHAKE can upside down vigorously for more than one minute after hearing mixing marble moving freely in the can.

2. TEAR OFF top safety tab by pulling tab from front to back of top of nozzle. This safety tab is not reusable and it is meant to be broken off.

2. TEST the spray texture by spraying into a trash can.

4. ADJUST texture: for medium to heavy texture, spray without straw insert. For heavier texture, overlap texture sprays. Adjust distance to the wall. For finer texture, firmly insert straw into nozzle tip.

5. SPRAY holding can approximately 12 to 18 inches away from surface using intermittent bursts. For optimal blending, use different stroke motions like up and down, or left to right.

6. PAINT: For water-based textures- allow texture to dry for 30 minutes prior to painting. Dry time may be longer in cooler/humid conditions or with thicker applications

TEXTURE LIKE A PRO

Achieve Consistent Pressure
- To avoid loss of pressure and inconsistent texture you must shake the can for more than 1 MINUTE after hearing the marble
Application Pattern
- Use intermittent burst, a little texture goes a long way
- You can always spray more/ add another coat
Achieve Texture Definition
- Spraying too close to the wall results in poor texture definition and texture sagging
- Practice with a piece of carboard and determine how close to spray for the perfect texture match
- For finer texture use the straw by inserting it onto the nozzle.
- For medium texture do not use the straw
- For heavier texture do not use the straw and build-up texture by layering

I thought I would give this DAP textured wall spray for fixing the texture on my wall and I am very happy with the results. I've never used textured wall spray before but this product was extremely easy to use with great results. It has a strong order and I would definitely recommend ventilation when using but it dried extremely fast and I couldn't smell a thing after a few hours. I would definitely recommend this product for easy texturing on your next painting job.

DAP Oil Based Orange Peel spray texture is a DIY’ers best friend! The texture spray is easy to blend for a consistent texture across your project. Use the included tube for fine spray, or use straight from the can at varying distances for medium to heavy texture. Do not attempt to adjust the thickness of the spray via the trigger unit. The variance is achieved though the tube and the distance from your surface. This texture does take a bit of learning curve. I suggest you test on a scrap of drywall or cardboard before applying to your walls. Attempts to adjust the trigger may result in a texture coated cheek/ear. Ask me how I know! The spray volume/time is lower than some competitors so be aware of can pressure as you are using. However, the texture is more consistent with original/professional texture once you “learn” the product. At the price point, the DAP Oil Based Orange Peel is one of the better alternatives for a patch job or small drywall texture job.

Go to product for me. Great price and effective. Sprays on easily and no mess afterwards. Drys very quickly. Texture matches perfect. Orange smell is amazing! Have used in the past, holds up well and covers well. Awesome product!

I had a small area to touch up and DAP wall spray did the trick. The application was effortless and the fact that you can change the spray coverage was an added bonus. Very little odor and very quick dry time. The texture was consistent and not too runny.

Great texture spray. For the gaps in my texture and everyday coverage from the damage my kids and dogs make this worked great. Seems to hold well so we will see if it’s long lasting over the next few months. So far so good. Overall really great.
